January 2026

As we approached Christmas and the New Year, we may have encountered a rather difficult time, which brought tears, memories, feelings and (unresolved) conflicts to the surface, perhaps leaving us feeling powerless. I would like to express deep empathy to all of you, who may feel alone, remembering their loved ones. It may be challenging for you, memories and wishes running like a river, grief causing a storm inside of us. Experiencing pressure, seeing happy Christmas movies, meeting and seeing families could leave us feeling shattered into pieces. We once also had a version of our assumptive world which we hoped for. We wish to be with our loved ones today, to still have them by our side, to cherish many more beautiful moments with them. Please do not worry, you are not alone in this, and as we go on our journeys through life, we tend to revisit even the hardest and darkest times of our lives, because as we all probably know, life is messy. We can’t control it.

I would like to invite you to feel and embrace whatever it is you are feeling. Whatever your inner world looks like right now, try to accept it and remember, please, it is important and valid. There is no set timeline for grief, we are allowed to feel it.

Let’s together think about what could we do for ourselves? Even the smallest course of action, what could it look like? What do you need in this moment? If you need to stay in silence, to be quiet, do it. If you need to scream, do it. If you need to cry, also allow yourself to do it. Whatever it is, give yourself a space.

As you know, I suggest dedicating some time to oneself, and to clay work, which can ease our (emotional) pain, to help our beautiful souls to stay here, to stay resilient.  Let’s together believe in our potential and strength to go on. If you explore the magic of clay work, let me know. Let’s stay together as a community.

I will not say Happy New Year to you, because that may be overwhelming. I will wish you all the nicest year possible in whichever form it may manifest.

With deepest care and a clay wave,

Adela
